I. TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GUESTS AND CLIENTS OF ARAKUR Ushuaia Resort & Spa
Every person who enters ARAKUR Ushuaia Resort & Spa S.A. (hereinafter "ARAKUR") and uses its services and facilities as guests or clients (hereinafter "users") agrees to use the services in accordance with the prevailing legal provisions in the Civil and Commercial Code, other accessory legislation (hereinafter the "law"), these Terms and Conditions, as well as good customs and public order. The user agrees to refrain from using the services for illicit purposes and/or harmful to the rights and interests of other users and/or third parties, or that in any way may damage, disable, overburden, or deteriorate the provision of services by ARAKUR or prevent and/or obstruct and/or hinder their normal use.
1. Check In/ Check Out
The check-in time for users at ARAKUR facilities is from 03 PM, and the check-out time is until 10 AM. Subject to availability, the option is provided to pay an extra cost based on the rack rate for a late check-out until 03 PM or 06 PM, according to the user's needs. After this period, the full rate will be charged.
Documentation: All users must present their National Identity Document (D.N.I.), Passport, or identity card at the time of check-in. This policy is particularly extended to minors.
Minors: It is mandatory to register and present photo identification for minors, who must also have a family relationship with the accompanying adults. If there is no family relationship, the adults in charge of the minors must have documentation proving their status as guardians and/or authorized to travel with the minors (e.g., judicial or notarial authorization). The guardian must present documentation authenticated by a competent authority.
Users must register in advance at reception. It is prohibited to bring companions to the rooms without prior registration at ARAKUR’s reception.
Groups: Must refer to what has been previously agreed and contracted with the Commercial function.
Payments: At the time of check-in, 100% of the stay must be paid (if applicable). A credit card guarantee or a cash deposit is required for additional expenses and contingencies; otherwise, each consumed service must be paid for at the moment. Services Fee: Upon arrival a Lodging Service Fee will be collected (USD 7 per night per adult) and a 10% Service Fee will be applied for the rest of the provided services (Restaurant & Bars, Spa, Laundry, etc.).-
ARAKUR offers luggage storage service, disclaiming responsibility for items not collected after ninety (90) days. Damage caused to the items by fire, theft, or other causes is not the responsibility of the establishment. Additionally, the user declares that the deposited luggage does not contain money, jewelry, or other flammable and/or explosive items, assuming the obligation to inform the ARAKUR manager if such items are present. In case of false declaration, ARAKUR declines all responsibility.
2. General Considerations
The costs incurred from total or partial damage/deterioration caused to the facilities, computer systems, accessories, goods, services, or supplies of ARAKUR and/or any other recipient due to misuse or negligence by the user or their guests will be charged to the user's account.
ARAKUR is a "Smoke-Free" establishment, and smoking is not permitted in the rooms and common areas, in accordance with Law 1799. If a user violates this provision, a penalty of 300 US dollars will be charged, in addition to the value of any items that may have been damaged, if applicable. Repetition of this behavior may result in the early termination of the stay. Smoking is only allowed in designated areas outside the building.
Users of ARAKUR commit to respecting others (both users and employees), following the instructions of ARAKUR staff, avoiding noises that may be bothersome, or activities that may disturb the rest periods or the relaxed stay of other users, and respecting the established usage times, including the proper use of ARAKUR’s furniture and goods. This applies to rooms, lounges, and common areas. In case of non-compliance with these rules or others stipulated in these Terms and Conditions, the corresponding costs may be charged to the involved users.
ARAKUR reserves the right of admission and permanence concerning these users, without any right to reimbursement, in order to safeguard a pleasant experience for the rest of the users. ARAKUR prohibits remaining in a state of intoxication, the use of drugs, dangerous substances, the use of weapons, loud noises, shouting, or other behaviors that go against the general well-being of ARAKUR users.
ARAKUR is considered a family hotel; however, children under 12 years old (inclusive) must be supervised by their responsible adults (family member or guardian) at all times during their stay to maintain order and decorum, without causing inconvenience or discomfort to other users.
ARAKUR does not admit pets, except for guide animals with the necessary authorizations previously presented in accordance with current disability and companion animal legislation. The supply, dispensing, or administration of any type of medication, whether with or without a prescription, is not authorized or permitted within ARAKUR. This measure is adopted to protect the health and safety of guests and to avoid any legal liability arising from the delivery of medications that may be inappropriate, inaccurate, or contraindicated for the requester's health. In the event that a guest requires medication, ARAKUR staff may assist by offering a delivery service from a pharmacy in the city, at the requester's expense and responsibility. For more severe conditions, ARAKUR offers professional medical assistance or emergency ambulance services. Guests acknowledge and accept this policy upon check-in and release ARAKUIR from any liability related to the procurement, consumption, or effects of medication not provided by licensed professionals.
3. Food and Beverages
Breakfast time are from 07 AM to 11 AM, lunch hours are from 12 PM to 03 PM and dinner hours are from 07 PM to midnight, at La Cravia restaurant.
The Lobby Bar is open from 11 AM to 01 AM These hours and services may vary depending on the season.
Room Service is offered 24 hours a day, with reduced service between midnight and 06 AM.
Food and beverages: The entry of food and beverages not provided by the establishment is not permitted without the express prior authorization of an ARAKUR representative. Users are not allowed to cook food brought in, either in the ARAKUR room or anywhere else on the establishment’s premises. All dietary restrictions or allergies must be informed prior to arrival and check-in at ARAKUR.
The various dining areas have limited capacity; for breakfast, tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance reservations are recommended for lunch and dinner services. A place will be guaranteed, but not the specific location within the La Cravia restaurant. The consumption of alcoholic beverages is exclusive to those over 18 years of age, who, like adults, must maintain appropriate behavior for the location, without causing discomfort and/or inconvenience to other users and/or the staff in charge of the service.
Cooking in the rooms, accessing the kitchen, and/or consuming in common areas food not sold by ARAKUR is not allowed. For room charge accounts, only adults who registered their signature at check-in can sign. If not registered, payment must be made before leaving the dining area.
4. Rooms
ARAKUR staff may enter the guest's room without prior notice to perform cleaning, room service, or repairs if necessary. Between 06 PM and 9:30 PM, a turndown service may be offered to prepare the room for rest.
Extra Bed: The following room categories allow additional beds for a fixed nightly charge: Superior Double (1), Deluxe Triple (1), Junior Suite (2), and Premium Suite (3). Some amenities, bathrobes, towels, slippers, sheets, furniture, and everything belonging to and contained in the room, provided for your stay and used during it (except for shampoo, conditioner, and soaps), must remain in the room at check-out. If you wish to purchase them, they are available at the Store located on Level L.
ARAKUR offers a shoe cleaning service that can be requested at the front desk; therefore, using room items for such cleaning will incur a penalty.
Our rooms are equipped with safes for storing valuables or important items. ARAKUR is not responsible for missing valuables that are not secured in the safe provided for that purpose. Upon check-out, if the user wishes to store any of their valuable belongings, they can request this at the front desk for storage in the safety deposit box.
5. Transfers
Transfer In/Out: ARAKUR offers two options:
a) ARAKUR “Express” consists of a transfer service between the airport and ARAKUR, which must be booked per segment at least 24 hours in advance. It is exclusive for users, direct without intermediate stops, and is a shared service. Maximum luggage capacity must be checked in advance.
b) ARAKUR “Private” is a transfer service between the airport and ARAKUR, which must be booked per segment at least 24 hours in advance. It is exclusive, without sharing the vehicle with other users not in your group. In both options, complete flight information is required.
Shuttle: ARAKUR offers users transfer between ARAKUR and the city center, included in the rate, at a pre-established frequency communicated at check-in. Access to the following link for schedule: https://arakur.com/c/shuttle/.
Use of this transfer with checked luggage (including winter activity equipment) is not allowed. The stop location in the city center and transfer schedules may change. Capacity is limited, no advance reservations, and is on a first-come, first-served basis, not available for groups/events. Consumption of food and beverages inside is prohibited. It cannot be used for check-in/out transport.
Cerro Castor Transfer: Reservations for buses to Cerro Castor for ski days, can be made through the following address: https://arakur.com/skibus/login.php at different times that are available in this application. It´s subject to availability of places in the units at different times. The consumption of food and drinks inside the vehicle is prohibited. Hours and location are subject to change. 6. Sports&Fun
Access to the pools and recreation areas (located on Level B) is for ARAKUR users.
The opening hours for the pools, playroom, and micro-cinema are shown in the “Guest Information” letter.
Pools & Hot Tubs: The instructions in the spa, pool, and hot tub areas must be followed; wear non-slip footwear; enter and/or exit the pool/hot tubs through designated areas, carefully, and in compliance with established safety instructions. Users must pay attention to the temperature of the hot water both when entering the pools/hot tubs and when showering in the locker rooms and/or bedrooms. Children under 12 years of age are only allowed to use the pools with written permission from a parent or guardian. Those who require diapers must wear special water-safe diapers. Running and acrobatics are prohibited in the pool/hot tub area. The only access to the water is via the steps. The use of glass or sharp objects is prohibited to reduce the risk of accidents.
During the months of July, August, and September, children under 16 are not permitted to enter or remain in the pools after 08 PM.
Playroom & Kids Club: Bare-chested entry is prohibited, nor are children under 12 allowed without adult supervision.
We consider our spa an area for recreation and relaxation. Appropriate behavior is essential, ensuring that the space is not disturbed or disturbed by other users.
Sauna use is by reservation at the Pool Bar (room 851) from 08 AM to 10:30 PM.
The Pool bar is open from 08 AM to 10:30 PM (for meals) and until 11 PM (for drinks).
Massage therapies: Reservations are required upon check-in to ARAKUR.
For massage reservations, please contact the spa reception at +54 9 (2901) 44-2908 or dial extension 850 once you have checked in.
Reservations cannot be made prior to that time. Cancellations are free of charge before 02 AM of the scheduled appointment time. If cancellation is made within 2 hours of the scheduled appointment time (or a no-show), 100% of the treatment price will be charged to the guest's room.
Access to the spas is individual, and users must maintain good conduct and respect the staff performing the treatment.
The Fitness Center/Gym (located on Level A) is open from 07 AM. to 11:30 PM. Visitors wishing to use the gym outside of these hours may do so by notifying the hotel's Front Desk and signing a waiver of liability, as ARAKUR is not staffed outside of these hours. Admission is permitted only in sports clothing and footwear. Users understand that improper use of the equipment can be dangerous and should seek assistance from the staff.
General dress code: It is prohibited to circulate around ARAKUR topless and/or in swimwear, except in designated areas, such as the pools and Spa locker rooms.
In all areas comprising Sports & Fun, the use of audio players must be done with headphones only.
The use of photos and videos is strictly for personal use. The use of drones is prohibited, as is invading the privacy of other users at all times and in any public area of ARAKUR.
7. ARAKUR Experience
For information and reservations on excursions or transfers, we have variable hours depending on the season, as defined in "Guest Information." If you need to contact us outside of these hours, please do so through Reception. They will be happy to answer your questions or assist you, and you will then be contacted by Experience.

Excursions modified/canceled: Up to 7 days in advance will not incur a penalty. Between 7 days and 48 hours before the start date, a 50% penalty will be applied. After 48 hours before the excursion, 100% of the cost will be charged as a cancellation fee. Rates are subject to change without prior notice. Excursions are subject to availability, weather conditions, and/or external factors. If the requested excursion cannot be conducted due to the detailed reasons, it will be compensated with another experience of equal value. Reservations are considered canceled or modified when requested by the user via email or WhatsApp and confirmed by ARAKUR through the same channel.
Winter Considerations: Reservations for passes and equipment for Cerro Castor must be made at least 7 business days in advance and are subject to availability. If all required information is not received within the informed deadlines, ARAKUR does not guarantee the availability of equipment or passes. In this case, no refunds will be made, and the user may incur additional costs to be confirmed. Additionally, ARAKUR reserves the right to confirm ascent dates and equipment sizes based on availability informed by Cerro Castor on the confirmation day.
Any extra cost resulting from reprinting passes due to missing data or failure to comply with the deadlines detailed here (48 hours after reservation confirmation), modification or cancellation of transfers, or excursions, will be borne by the user. ARAKUR may have a place at Cerro Castor called Ski Point, operating from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM (subject to availability and various factors). It is an exclusive meeting point for users where information and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided. Staying and/or storing equipment and/or objects is prohibited.

The room is equipped with various smart controls: lighting, curtains, blackout, faucets, etc., with usage information available on channel 9 “Guide” on your TV.

Your room features a touch display with various functionalities, available in Spanish and English:

INTERACTIVE TV
Press the “POWER” button on the remote control to turn the TV on and off. Follow the on-screen instructions. Due to the type of communication, it may take a few seconds. The channel distribution is as follows: 1 – 7 Children’s 8 – Information 9 – Guide 10 – Special 11 – 25 Argentina 26 – 34 International 35 – 46 Sports 47 – 57 Documentaries 58 – 75 Entertainment MINIBAR Each room is equipped with a fully stocked minibar, which includes two complimentary waters. Your consumption will be recorded, and items will be replenished daily. Prices can be found via the menu QR code.
SAFE / SECURITY BOX
Each room has a digital safe located in the closet. Instructions for use are on the door. Please note that the Hotel is not responsible for jewelry, money, traveler’s checks, or other valuables left in the room. For more information, contact the Front Desk. SAFETY For your safety, it is prohibited to light candles or any other flammable items in the room.
SAFETY VOLTAGE
In all rooms, only 220 V and 50 Hz voltage is used, with type I and L outlets. The voltage in Argentina is 220V. All rooms are equipped with international outlets. LOST ITEMS Contact the Front Desk.
LUGGAGE RETRIEVAL OR STORAGE
To request luggage retrieval or to store it in the Hotel's deposit, contact the Front Desk.
EMERGENCIES SMOKE IN THE AREA
If there is smoke in your room or in the hallway, contact the Front Desk or press the "EMERGENCY" key. If necessary, close doors and windows and try to prevent smoke from entering the room by covering the lower part of the doors with wet towels. If the smoke is present elsewhere, notify our staff and evacuate to the emergency exits. Go to the nearest meeting point, located in the parking lot and on the terrace of La Cravia restaurant.
STEPS TO FOLLOW IN AN EMERGENCY
1. Press the "Emergency" key on the phone. Specify the exact location of the incident and provide a detailed description of the situation.
2. Avoid panic and remain calm. We are prepared to help you.
3. If you are told to evacuate the area, head toward the nearest emergency exit, where you will be guided by our staff.
4. Do not remove items from the room that could restrict your movement.
5. If there is smoke, move through the hallways crouching down to breathe better.
6. If you are wearing high heels, remove your shoes.
7. Do not use the elevators.
8. Do not go to upper floors.
9. Evacuate to the emergency exits and go to the nearest assembly point, located in the parking lot and on the terrace of La Cravia restaurant.
AMENITIES UNDER REQUEST
You can request some amenities from Guest Services at no additional cost if needed (electric kettle, teas, cups, and glasses).
USAGE OF AMENITIES
The various amenities found in your room are designed for your enjoyment during your stay at Arakur. They are not intended to be taken by guests, but if you wish to purchase them, you can find them at our ARAKUR Store on Level L (bath salts, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, soap, body lotion, bathrobe, slippers, face towel, hand towel, bath towel, Arakur pencils).
